We at the CLFA want to wish our new president, vice president, administration, and their families good health and every success as they strive to Make America Great Again.

CLFA members ran the gamut from full-throated support for candidate Trump to absolute rejection, but we are all in love with his small-government, pro-America goals. Today is as great and historical a day as January 20, 2008 was, and don’t let anyone tell you different. We have an historic civilian-turned-CEO and CiC. We have the first-ever woman campaign manager to win a national election. And we have a bitterly divided electorate, which many people believe has pushed the country to the brink of civil war.

Can Trump reverse our devastating course of spiraling national debt and government dependence? Can he rebuild our military, our patriotism, and our morale? Can he diminish the national ideological rift through manifestly successful policy? Can he turn back the destructive tide of Progressive authoritarianism? In short, can he MAGA?

Those of us who are the praying sort are taking a knee this morning, asking God to keep everyone safe, to guide our people and our new leadership, and to return America to its place as a land of peace, prosperity, and prominence.
