CLFA member Robert Cooperman has committed an outstanding act of vision and leadership. His organization, Stage Right Theatrics, has pulled together a festival that produces a range of theater pieces that exemplify a conservative worldview—for the second year in a row.
“Why am I doing this? I was tired of the obligatory attack on conservatives in plays. Of the stereotypical portrayal of conservatives as ignorant, bigoted hillbillies or homophobic religious zealots,” explains Cooperman in an interview with The Stream. This year’s festival is scheduled for January 26–28 at the Shedd Theater in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets can be purchased here.
